Alexander Isong is the President and Member - Board of Trustees - Organization for Technology Advancement of Cold Chain in West Africa (OTACCWA). 

He is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ALYX Limited an indigenous cold chain company. 
Alexander serves as the Chairman of the Cold Chain Logistics Transportation Committee for 12 Northern State Governments in Nigeria, - (Kaduna, Kano, Niger, Katsina, Plateau, Jigawa, Sokoto, Bauchi, Benue, Zamfara, Nasarawa and Benue States) for National Stakeholders committee for Government Promotion and Regulation of Tomato in Nigeria (2017 – Till date).
He is a Committee Member of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural development InterMinisterial Agriculture/Nutrition Working Group (IANGW) (2019 till date} 
He is a Committee Member of the Federal Ministry of Environment Implementation Committee on the Montreal Protocol’s Ozone Depleting Substance (ODS) Phase-Out Programme in Nigeria (2020 till date) Alexander Isong has served as a consultant on Cold Chain to:  ▪ Cold Chain Mapping Project for Nigeria. Covered 13 Local Government Areas in Lagos State with Ashley Baker Limited, Lagos. (December 2017 – February 2018) 
▪ Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN)/Post-Harvest Loss Alliance for Nutrition (PLAN), Nigeria  
▪ GAIN/Scaling Up Nutrition (SBN)/FATE Foundation  
▪ The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-conditioning Engineers in Nigeria 
Alexander designed and manufactured a 5-ton trailer for Nigerian farms to curb post-harvest loss on Nigerian farms for perishable farm produce, removing farm heat from produce after harvest as the first step of the cold chain process (September 2017) . 

He also conducted a Field Test and Study to validate the effectiveness of the locally built 5-ton refrigerated trailer designed and constructed for pre-cooling as a postharvest loss reduction equipment for Post-Harvest loss Alliance for Nutrition (PLAN) - a project of Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) (May 7,2019)
